The development of the southern part of the Peace Promenade offers a historical correction to the environmental and tourism neglect of one of the most unique landscape sites in the country and worldwide. Beyond creating a quality and inviting sequence of boardwalk and bike path from the Coral Beach to the end of Taba, the coastal strip will be expanded and the road will be shifted west in order to remove parking from the waterline. In addition, all sides of the mountain will be carefully restored, in order to establish the required links between coastal tourism to mountain and desert tourism.
